ImageI have been interested in music since I was about 9 years old, when our first family electronic keyboard was bought. Things moved into the Pro Audio arena when I was 18, thanks mostly to the Princes Trust!

I was producing anything from Ambient/Trance/House and Acid/Machine, to '92 Hardcore-style tunes.

It wasn't until 1996 when I produced and sold my first album, Trip - Cultural Shift. This was in collaboration with a Bristol DJ by the name of Andy Hunter, and went on to sell 4000 copies world-wide,  something I am very proud of!

However, due to my naivety towards the record industry at the time, I didn't make a penny on it, and I returned to normal life...

Now I've got 2 albums to release in MP3 format:

  • Obsidian - an Ambient/Chillout/Electronica-focused album *
  • 3 Track Spectrum - a selection of 8-bit chip tunes on the 128K+3 *

Hence the need for a website, and to cut out the middleman in the process (or the FatMan as The Shamen would put it!)

Influences

There have been many artists during my lifetime who have entranced me with their musical talent, here are some of them: Stevie Wonder,  Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, The Alan Parsons Project, ELO, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Peter Gabriel, LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Doc Scott, Howard Jones, The Corgis, and probably a few others that escape me at this time!
